Q: Is Food Truck Friday every Friday?
A: No, Food Truck Friday is on the second Friday of each month from April to October.
Q: What time is Food Truck Friday?
A: Trucks are asked to serve from 11am to 9pm. However, some might open earlier than 11am and some might leave earlier than 9pm if they run out of food.
Q: How do I know which trucks and vendors will be there?
A: We will always post a map with all the vendors on it before the event on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
Q: What if it rains?
A: Food Truck Friday happens rain or shine. The CVB works closely with emergency management and Carthage Fire Department to detect severe weather and to keep attendees aware of any safety concerns.
Q: Are there tables?
A: Yes, the City of Carthage graciously provides picnic tables to Central Park, however, tables may fill up or may have spills from previous patrons. You are welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs to accommodate you and your family, should seating fill up.
Q: Can I bring a pet?
A: Yes, but all pets MUST be kept on a leash. Play nice & use waste baggies!
Q: Can I bring my own food or cooler?
A: Yes, but glass bottles are prohibited.
Q: Is there entertainment besides food trucks?
A: The entertainment varies each month. There is always live music in the evening and yard games available to play. Keep an eye on our social media pages to find out what else is offered at upcoming events.
Q: I am having an event, can I get a contact list for food trucks?
A: As part of our vendor agreement, we do not share contact information for food truck vendors. If you would like to share the details of your event with us, we will be happy to pass it along to our partners and they can contact you directly if they are interested.

Q: How do I get "in" to Food Truck Friday?
A: Food vendors are essential to this event. The committee reviews food vendor applications based on menu, social media presence (trucks have positive reviews and customer relations), and photos provided in applications (or on social media).
Q: I don't sell food; can my business or non-profit group have space at Food Truck Friday?
A: Yes, if you have a business or non-profit to promote, products or crafts to sell, you entertainment to share, we want you! Food Truck Friday is about bringing out the best of the best from around the community and region. Our committee reviews table vendor applications to avoid repetition, ensure family-friendly atmosphere, and limit waste in the park. Fees are waived for non-profits, however non-profit organizations wanting to sell food must complete food vendor process and pay application fees.
Q: What time is set up?
A: Food Trucks should be in place and ready to sell food at 11am. Check your application and event guidelines for specifics. Set up begins at 8am, followed by health department & public works checks at 9am for those who may need annual inspections. No trucks will be allowed to set up the night before the event.
Q: When can my band/entertainment set up?
A: Your entertainment can set up before you specified performance time determined in advance with Carthage CVB.
